Dr. Teresa Lei was born and raised in Medicine Hat. She began her studies in Kinesiology at Medicine Hat College before transferring to the University of Alberta. She then attended the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2020.
Dr. Teresa’s approach to care is focusing on the person as a whole. This means finding and treating the underlying cause in addition to the presenting symptoms. She uses a variety of techniques including chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapies, rehabilitation & strengthening exercises, and patient education. She has also taken additional adjusting and rehabilitation seminars to further enhance her skill set, including Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), McKenzie Method (MDT), and Motion Palpation Institute (MPI) courses. Her goal is to get you back to moving your best and doing what you love.
Growing up, Dr. Teresa was active in many activities including music and dance lessons and a handful of sports in high school. During undergrad, she began training in powerlifting and has competed in several competitions. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking, working out, reading, and baking treats.
